Furnace & Duct Cleaning
Power Whip Package:
At Champion, we use an aggressive cleaning method called Power Whip. It is a combination of compressed air and a Power Whip tool that work together to provide you with effective, thorough cleaning.
Our residential package includes:
- Oiling the furnace motor
- Checking the fan belts
- Removing the blower & cleaning it
- Cleaning the heat exchangers
- Replacing disposable filter
- Cutting an access hole in the plenum if required
- Removing, cleaning & replacing all vent covers & grills
- Power Whipping all hot air vents & arteries
- Cleaning inside all vent boots
- Power Whipping all cold air returns
- Power Whipping all main lines
- Washing the inside & outside furnace surfaces
Fireplace & Chimney Cleaning
We clean chimneys by using the power whip method. Most chimneys can be cleaned thoroughly from the inside of the home, while others can be done from the outside or require additional cleaning from the roof. For the safety of our staff, these cleanings are preferably done before winter when a build-up of snow and ice is cause for slippery conditions.
Please book your appointment early in the season to ensure that we can accommodate your chimney cleaning in time for you to use it safely all winter! And remember, we require a minimum of 24 hrs. timelapse from last use until your cleaning appointment. This ensures that there are no hot embers still burning.
We cannot inspect chimneys as we are not WETT certified.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Dryer vent cleaning is very important for it can prevent a potential risk of a fire. We use a reverse skipper ball airline to clean out the dryer vent.
System Sanitizing with Benefect Disinfectant
At Champion, we use Benefect Botanical Disinfectant. This product is highly effective and kills 99.99% of Germs. Benefect Botanical Disinfectant is made from plant extracts and has no synthetic Fragrances, Dyes, or Bleach. Once the furnace and ductwork has been cleaned, we will spray the Benefect into the ductwork.
